With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Lenora Beaver on May 17, 2024 born in Frankville, NS, December 25, 1930. Margie was predeceased by her husband Harry, her childhood sweetheart and love of her life. Survived by her children, Brenda (Richard), John (Selina), Beverly, Alania (David), Sherrie (Ernie), Joseph (Lana). Margie was blessed to have 14 grandchildren: Erika (Kevin), Jodie (Jennifer), Kelly (Donnie), Cindy, David (Emily), Lindsay (Darren), Colin (Jennifer), Coady (Ryan), Meghan (Rob), Shea, Jesse, Chad, Matthew: 25 great grandchildren Connor, Brennan, Isaac, Henry, Kayla, Jacob, Briana, Cohen, Max, Andrew, Dempsey, Ethan, Evelyn, Braydyn, Aubrey, Owen, Macy, Charlie, Sunni, Adria, Riley, Jaxson, Carter, Cohen and Nolan. 2 great great grandchildren Cayden and Zoe. Sister Hermine LeBlanc. Margie was predeceased by her sons Raymond and Bryant, grandson Tyler and daughter in law Valerie, siblings John Durant, Josephine Boyd, Marie Hayward, William Durant.
In her early years she worked at Morse’s Tea Factory and later joined the staff of TJ Eatons where she worked in the Marine Room Kitchen for more than 35 years.
Margie was a busy little Beaver with many talents. She had a passion for painting, music, gardening, guitar, She was the family’s Scrabble champ. Her Greatest enjoyment was to be with her family and extended family. You know you’ve been adopted into the Beaver colony if you were spoiled with her homemade goodies and of course BIG Hugs. We will all miss our very special Mom/Nanny/Nanny B. Mom, we will always love you more.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 27, 2024 from 5-8pm and a funeral service will be at 2pm on Tuesday May 28, 2024 both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margie may be made to a charity of your choice.
