Louise was a wonderful neighbour.  A kind and thoughtful woman.  I admired her.  My warmest wishes to all.

We were saddened to read of Miss Chaisson’s death.  Our son Neil had an enjoyable and growing year with her as a grade 3 student in a combined Grade 2/3  in the late 90’s. My sincerest condolences to the Chaisson Family. I am writing this as Louise’s funeral Mass is taking place and am praying for her and all of you. She was a beautiful soul and a well-respected teacher and woman. May God bless you all with his comfort and peace and grant Louise a fitting place in his heavenly home.

So sorry to learn about the loss of Louise. Throughout her years of teaching, I know that she had a positive impact on the many students who passed through her classroom. I was lucky enough to have taught with Louise at St. Stephen’s Annex for the first and best 10 years of my teaching career. She was very well loved and respected by both students and staff. My memories of staff socials, pot lucks and gatherings at Barb Shea’s with Louise will remain always in my heart.  I felt a special connection to Louise, since I knew Louis from High School and his love, Madelane , since Primary. 
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral since I have Covid 19 and am isolating.

Cliff and I were so sorry for your loss. Louise was a great gal. Enjoyed bowling with her and going to the banquet sitting together and even getting up for a dance or 2. Getting caught up with family members, weddings, and new babies upon arrival and enjoyed our chats as well.

To Linda  and Paul and Chiasson family members. So sorry to hear about your loss.  Louise and I went through high-school together and were someone close at that time. I remember that she was very smart, studious, calm and easy going. Throughout the years she was one of my high-school buddies I often thought about. I had no idea that you were her sister. I'm sure she will be very much missed.  

I am so sorry to hear about Louise’s passing. We go back so many years. I originally met Louie’s in Sorority. After a number of years there were a number of us who left Sorority and decided that we would get together for at that time was appetizers and a game of remoli. Then appetizers turned into a dinner together. We had so much fun. But as time moves on one of our friends Leslie Edwards moved to Vancouver. Then one of dear friends Sharon Grandy passed and Louise and I went to the funeral together. We always got together when Leslie came home from Vancouver. Would run into her at Sobeys and catch up on what was going on. Always looked forward to our yearly Christmas cards.

Dear, sweet Louise. It is with great sadness and a rock of pain in my heart that you have left us. You were a dear friend. We were colleagues as teachers, but I got to know you much better in retirement. We spent so much time sharing stories, and laughing. You were a stubborn one, but as you said to me one day (and I found it quite ironic) ‘Marsha, you are determined to do things on your own terms.’
I was always amazed at your ability to remember names. We would sit and think, and you would always come up with the answer. Must have been years of practice keeping track of all those nieces and nephews!
I will miss you at Wednesday coffee. I will miss you in my life! Rest in peace.

So very sorry for your families loss.  Lovely lady.  I learned how to play the ukulele from Ms. Chaisson.

I remember her from my student days at the Annex. I did not have the pleasure of being one of her students but I she was well liked by her students. My deepest sympathy on her passing.

Ms. Chaisson was my second grade teacher. She was a lovely yet no-nonsense lady who, despite all of our mischief, managed to keep a clear head and laugh at our antics when she thought no one was watching. I remember her fondly, from when she bought us all popsicles on a hot field trip to her caring and thoughtful approach to each and every one of her students. I will certainly miss her and the light she brought to all the people that encountered her throughout her life.
