Lorraine Grace Jones

Survived by loving son, Terrance Lee Jones; grandsons, Unique, Dalen, Madden and Kellen; granddaughters, Asia and Lola; great-granddaughters, Kavaia and Aria; sisters, Marion (Keith) Miller of Yarmouth, Heather of Halifax, June of Calgary, Pauline (Leonard) Brown and Rose (Doug) Atkinson both of Yarmouth and Mitzi Loppie of Dartmouth; 8 nephews, 5 nieces and several great nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, aunt and a beautiful sister who would go out of her way to help others, she enjoyed playing bingo and scratching her lotto tickets. She will never be gone and never forgotten in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax where a celebration of life will also take place on Friday, April 21 at 1pm. A reception will follow the service at the Funeral Home.

Special thanks to the Palliative Care nurses on unit 7A at the VG Hospital for the wonderful care given.
