Leah Frances "Fanny" Howard

Fanny had a great love of family and loved life to the fullest, especially when playing Bingo. She liked to shop and the highlight of her day was to sit and watch Days of our Lives.

Fanny will be sadly missed by her children, Sandra Pellerine and Barry Howard (Sandi); grandchildren, Scott (Kim) , Kim, Jason (Tracy) and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Emma, Camryn, Allyson, Faith and her father, Chris, Jaylin, Jersey, Jake and Jemma as well as her sister, Mary Howard and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent J. Howard; sisters, Flo, Dorothy, Sylvia, Elizabeth “Betty” and Judy as well as her brothers, Jack, Alexander and George.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice. We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the VON and staff of Northwood 5 Center.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 7-9 pm at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax where service will also be held on Wednesday, January 4 at 1pm followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
