Well my Darling..I truly believe it is time that I close this charter of my life with you. You will always be with me tucked away in my heart and I will never forget you, but it is time that I let go and move on with my life. You see Kev we all have journeys in life and we learn from them all. I don't had any regrets with my life with you and I don't have any angrier towards you. I will never love like I loved you but I do want to love again. I want some happiness & joy again because life is too short to be sad all the time and for my heart to be aching for you. Hello my Angel, Hard to believe that a year has gone by. My heavens where has that year gone. So much has changed Kev, I still wish you were with me but not in the condition you were in. I have been reminiscing about the good years that we had and we certainly did have a few. You were one hell of a funny man, Kev, we had a lot of laughs & you made a lot of people laugh as well. I guess that's where I need to reflect on when I become sad. No one can take my memories away, I will always have them tucked away in my heart, until we meet again. You were a great man who just got lost in your journey in life. 
Holly & I will be visiting your grave site sometime today & replenishing the flowers & yes Kev I probably will shed a few tears. I will always miss you. The loneliness & emptiness some days is hard to handle but I pray to the good lord to give me the strength to move on from all of this. So I know today is difficult day but I hope & pray as time goes on it does become easier to handle. I do want to have joy & happiness in my life again but in saying this I will never forget you & look so forward to seeing you again someday. Well my darling another month has come & gone by, still very lonely without you. I was thinking about you coming by & visiting me this time last year and us having great conversations, but still no clue what was happening with you. I did see the deterioration in your body but I guess I didn't want to really admit what was happening to someone you love. I just wish I would of know but you took that away from all of us. You had your reasons & I have to except that, I may not like your reasons but out of my hands. Time waits for no one and I have certainly live through that. I still miss you so much.
Well Kev our first grandchild turned 17 today. Hard to believe that Matt is that old, just seems like yesterday he was born. He isn't here he is still in Gagetown but has told me when he comes home the end of the month,he wants a DQ ice cream cake & yes Kev I will sing the Birthday song to him. He doesn't need to think because he is away that he gets to miss my singing...NOT. In a just 10 days it will be Mikey's Birthday..he will be 4 yrs old. I'm getting old Kev. Mikey is certainly a sweet little guy, totally the opposite of Matthew when he was little. Two very different kids, you would love them both very much.

Hi Kev...wanted to share with you my lovely few days down in Digby. Linda & I went down to Birchville Cottages for a few days and it was really nice to get away from the city for those few days. We had a really nice time just sitting by the pool,soaking up the sun & jumping in the water when we got to hot. So nice to just relax & Kev I really haven't done that since you left me. Yes we eat very good as well and we had Mag's famous homemade
 "Butterscoth pie",mmmmmm, I know you would of loved that. We certainly did some reminiscing of the crazy things you said and the foolish things you done and yes had some serious talks as well. You know Kev your death has effected as both in very different ways but we both are trying to put it in the pass & remember the good days that we had before you became so ill. There were times Kev that the 3 of us had so much fun together before your disease took over your life, those are what we have to remember. When we left the cottage on Sunday we drove all through the valley and made some stops alone the way, it is such a beautiful drive. You & I use to do it several times during the summer, o how I miss that. We stopped at the Big Scoop on the way down & yes on the way back as well, was so good. So our visit to Digby was a WONDERFUL and spending some time with my bestfriend is also FUN, but one thing missing was "YOU"!!!!!! Love you & miss you so much xoxoxoxoxxo

My Dearest Kev, Another month has gone by without you in my life,so sad. You should be here with us enjoying the summer but instead it is just Holly & I. Tonight I going to BQ one of your favorites, "Steak". Blair is back home so he & I are going to have supper together. I miss you lots and my life as it is, is very lonely without you in it. Hello Kev, well we certainly had an excited day yesterday, we got the end of a hurricane with a lots of wind but we were thankful that we didn't get what NB got. They got a lot of heavy rain and bad winds. Guess who was out in all that Kev our Matt, in a tent. His father & I took him to Gagetown on Thursday & he is there until August 30th. He texted me yesterday saying the rain was killing them, I haven't spoke to him since to see how they made out. His father,me & Mag went to his graduation down in Aldershot last Sunday to see him receive his "Basic Military Qualification Certificate." We were certainly proud of him & I know you were as well. He has come along way, Kev.
Little Mikey had his surgery for his double hernia. He is doing well, still walking a little cautious,too cute. 
Blair is out to Winnipeg for a week so Kev I'm all alone.
Going to take Holly for her walk and then maybe go for a drive, her & I. I wish you were here to go with us and just maybe drive down to the Big Scoop & get us all a soft ice cream. God I miss you and I really hate weekends because everyone is out doing things with their family and then there is just Holly & I.This morning I was remembering last year this time & Kev it certainly wasn't very good for you. You were becoming so sick, I still have that imagine of you looking so feeble & old. God it is so sad that your not here, you had so much life in you at one time. I pray all the time for this too get better for me because I need to move and start a new life but those words are easy to say but definitely hard to put in place.

Well My Darling, it would of been 23 years ago today that I married the love of my life & Kev we may of had some rough times but I don't regret my marriage with you. We certainly had a lot of fun over the years & I do have great memories. I remember when you proposed to me over a candlelight dinner of beans & wieners and you got down on your knee and said to me that it is time I marry you and I responded "WHEN", I remember that it was just like yesterday. You see Kev you were the love of my life and my heart aches every day for you, I just wish we could of turned this around and you would still be here with me. I know that can't happen because the good lord had another plan for us & I know we will meet again until then I hold you tightly within my heart & there you will stay until that day comes. Well here I am again Kev, Another month has gone by. So hard to believe that it is that long. Some days it just seems like yesterday. I miss you so much, never ever dreamt it would be this hard. My life has been turned upside down and never to be the same again. I know I do have to move on from this but it is certainly not easy, you are always on my mind. I pray all the time for strength & courage to get pass this horrible pain. I do know that you are helping me with this because sometimes I feel your presents with me. I do have a lot to be thankful & very grateful for & I certainly am. I have some very great people around me and I'm grateful for that. But at the end of the day it is just Holly & I & the loneliness takes over. Sometimes I try to keep busy at night but there is times you get so tried that you just want to sit home and then the old brain starts working overtime. That's life!!!!!!
I think of those 3 poor RCMP officers in Moncton that never had a chance & were kill for no reason other then someone hated them. Those families have to be devastated & they have small children as well. I think of Blair out there all the time working with the public & putting his life on the line with those crazy people out there. I pray that the good lord keeps him safe and Kev I hope you watch over him as well. So you know Kev I do have a lot to be thankful for, but I can't help how I miss you. My Darling,
This has been a very difficult weekend for me. I done a lot of crying and missing you so much. I sometimes wish I wasn't here either because that way I would be with you all the time and not here to have all this loneliness & emptiness. Yesterday there was a song that came on the radio that you sang to me "I just called to Say I Love You". I remember like it was yesterday, you paged me on the pager to call you and when I did you proceed to sing it to me. I will never forget that. See Kev we were really at one time very much in love, we just got derailed. There was so much love between us, sometimes I would think I was in a Love Story. Don't get me wrong we certainly had our problems and I'm talking before alcohol took over you. What is so hard Kev is seeing everyone moving on with their life and having good times and then their is just Holly & I. It is the most lonely & empty feeling that a person could endure. I said to Holly lets go for a drive just to get out of the house and first thing you know I'm up at the gravesite crying some more. But I did get myself under control and had a good old chat with you. I must say I did feel better. I know Kev your not coming back and that you are dead and I'm not crazy, this is part of grieving. But I think it also has to do with some unresolved issues we had. I do wish we had the opportunity to discuss some of our concerns before you passed. Yes we were starting to have some talks before that dreadful night but we certainly needed a lot more. We only have ourselves to blame Kev no one else. Just sitting here & thinking of you & all the good times we had. Kev we sure had a lot of fun over the years and so sad to think where you are today, should not be this way. We should be down south enjoying the beauty & also the heat. Going on our boat rides & you enjoying eating all kinds of different food. My heart aches for you all the time and loneliness is so overwhelming at times. I try everyday to have a positive day but then there is days that the sadness takes over. We should be together not apart, we were to grow old together. I have been looking at a lot of pictures, my you were a handsome devil.
Holly & I were up to the gravesite this morning, checking on things because we had a lot of wind, again. I know she misses you too, I sometimes say to her here comes daddy and she runs to the window, I know I shouldn't do that. I'm so grateful to have her, she does help with some of the loneliness.
Linda celebrated her 60th birthday on the weekend, we did a party for her. She had a great time & yes she had a ice cream cake. She also had a big piece for you as well.
Blair is doing ok & Matt still working hard in the Reserves. He goes every Thursday night & goes in on Friday night and stays for the weekend and yes gets paid which he loves.

Happy Easter My Darling, I know I'm not suppose to wish for something I can't have but boy do I wish you were here. Was up to the gravesite early this morning and placed some flowers and said a prayer. O yes I cried, I just can't seem to get a handle on that yet, but I know I will in time. It's just this emptiness in my heart and the loneliness I have. Sometimes I go and I do really well & then wham it hits again but they say that is what grieving is all about.
I put the turkey in the oven and we are just waiting to go down and pick up little Mikey to have our Easter with him. Blair is doing nights so Mikey will be staying here tonight. Matt & I are going to get him, shortly. We will have our turkey dinner before Blair goes to work, wish you were here to enjoy the dinner. I don't know what I would do without having them here, I think things would be a lot worse for me. Maggie is in NB having Easter with John & Jill which is good for her. 
My oh My time is going so fast, this still is so hard to believe your not here in our lives. I sometimes think this is all a bad dream but then reality steps in. I just miss you so much but I know I have to move on from this and I will but you will always be in my heart. Happy Birthday my Darling...another month is a pond us. This does make me sad but there is nothing we can do about it. Holly and I were up to your gravesite today and sang Happy Birthday to you. We are having "Ice Cream Cake to celebrate your Birthday for supper tonight & yes Kev I will give her some licks. I know she misses her daddy too. 
This has been a very hard week but with some guidance & prayers hopefully things will turn around. I keep reliving those last four hours of conversation we had in hospital and  so grateful that we had that short time to be alone and both talk from the heart. I cherished that night to the day we meet again and so thankful the we had that time.

Dearest Dad, Its hard to believe you have been gone for 7 months , but what makes it even more tough is that today you would have been 61. Too young to be gone.  A year ago today I was preparing your 60th birthday cake and awaiting your arrival and today Im doing the same except, you are not coming. We've all gone to visit your grave today,and Adam and Gill and Boomer and uncle Peter are coming for supper..we will celebrate your birthday with a Prime Rib and Yorkshire pudding dinner..one of your favorites. We will light a candle in your memory, You'll be with is in spirit, I am sure of that. Dad we will continue to keep our memories alive and as long as Adam and I are still here on Earth, you will be alive and well, living thru us. I just miss you so much, more than you will ever know ( actually I believe you do know)because I believe you have been here to visit us. I miss your jokes, your laugh, your sarcasm , our cooking lessons and even your stubbornness. Every single day I think about you,  and our chats in the last months you had with us here on earth, and I will be forever grateful for what we shared. We cleared a lot up, questions answered, tears shed but most importantly new memories made . I have finally realized that its not the material things of you that I need to help me grieve you, I have pictures of you and I talk to you daily and they help. The girls often sit and talk about you.. you'd be so proud of them, Emily may not look like me but boy Dad , she is such a Connors. Shes beautiful ,her quick whit and jolly personality keep us smiling.And Morgan, so smart and beautiful, more reserved keeping her thoughts and feelings to herself ( sounds like someone else I know Dad). Just know that we will always love and miss you..till we see you again Dad....someday.

Well Kevin here we are in April just a few days short of your 61st birthday.
I just wanted to let you know just how much your Jaclyn & Adam miss you.
There is not a day that goes by that they don't think of you especially Jackie, who as you know is a very emotional lady, & Adam keeps it all to himself much like you always did,he's a lot like you in many ways.Your brother Peter misses you very much that I do know, you guys were like two peas in a pod.
On your birthday they will be together for supper & I am sure Peter will be telling them many funny stories about the times you all had together.
Just a note in closing Kevin, your children loved you & will keep on loving you forever.They stayed by your side the whole time in the hospital, I'm sure you knew this. I was so proud of the two of them as I am sure you were too.

April already Kev, my the time is going fast. Some days it's hard to believe your not here with us. I know I have to move on from this but I still have my days, Kev. 
I started my grieving group on Thursday and boy did it set me on my ass. I was exhausted by the time I got home. I did say I didn't know if I could go back but since then I have decided to go, I need it very much. When you think you have things under control, wham you get hit again. I have very little under control...this can be very overwhelming. But I do want to move on from this so I truly need to deal with all of this. I need some happiness & to have fun in my life & I want that very much. I know this won't be easy but I'm up for the challenge.
On another note Kev, Matt was excepted to Reserves and he just finished his first weekend of training. He looked very tired when he came home today. If he passes he will graduate the end of June. He ask me at supper the other night if Pa would be happy for him, I told him you would be very proud of him. I can't wait to see him in his uniform. He will look so handsome.
John & Jill were down for the weekend and Mag & I went to a concert with them last night, it was good to get out for the evening & the concert was very good as well.

Well what can I say another month is a pond us, Kev. Your out of my life for 6 months now. Still some days it doesn't seem real but I know it certainly is. I'm not angry like I was but I still have a lot of questions and I ask WHY. But I guess I have to except what has happen and move on with my life without you in it. I will move on but it is going to take a little more time. When you been with someone as long as we were together and we did have some good years, you just can't snap your fingers and their gone. You will always be in my heart & some day we will be together again, just not now. I pray all the time for  god to give me the strength to get pass this and move to the future because I do want to move on with my life. You know Kev that also can be scary because you don't know what lies ahead, but here a go. I hope your watching over me & giving me some guidance because I'm sure I will need it. I have joined a Grieving Group for the next 8 weeks and hope that this helps me understand the many thoughts & feelings that I have experienced. I am looking forward to share my experience and just maybe hearing what other people have gone through it just might help me as well. Kev what I have learn so far a lot of people aren't comfortable talking about my losing you. Ya Maggie is because she loss her dear Steve but not many more. People think that after a couple months you should move on with your life, doesn't work that way. 
Well my Darling I will see where this goes and just hopefully it will help me to move on without you and take this new walk in life. Love You & Miss You xoxoxox

Well My Darling, here it is another month has gone by. This is so hard to believe even after 5 months. I sometimes wake & I think what will today bring and then I realize your not here. There still is days I wish I wasn't here and then I hear our Holly & I know you would want me to be here for her. But I will tell you Kev there are those days that I couldn't care less about being here on this planet. I know I have Blair, his kids & my dear Maggie but still Kev, I'm a very lonely person without you in some part of my life. Sometimes I get almost sick to my stomach when I think of you gone. You had much more to give to this life but I know the good lord decided he needed you more. But it still hurts very much. I don't know when this is suppose to get better, if it ever does.
Well we are having one hell of a rain storm & heavy winds out there tonight. I wish you were here so we could cuddle...remember when we use to cuddle all the time. God what happen, well we know what happen, don't we. 
I've been helping Mag move into her new place, which has been good for me. She is now moved in & all on one level, so it will be good for her. Kristin is down visiting Blair so he will be happy and his B-day is next week so that will be great for him to have Kris here. Tomorrow is Valentines Day so they will be together for that as well. I remember how you use to make me feel so special on that day, you would give me the most beautiful card and always wrote some very special words that I knew came from your heart. So tomorrow I will think of you and write in my journal some special words to you. If the weather isn't to bad I might go and get some flowers and to have on the table & think of you, because you always got me some flowers with my beautiful card. 
Holly is going next week to get her hair cut, you should see her Kev, she looks like a buff ball. I don't think she likes her hair this long because she always is scratching at her self & my god the knots in her fur...WOW. But we have had a very cold winter and lots of snow so I have let it get longer then usual. I was hoping to go to the gravesite tomorrow but I will have to see what the weather is like, maybe just be able to go up and sit in the jeep, Holly & I...have a TIMS.

Hello My Dear Kev, sitting here listening to your music & crying my heart out. God I miss you so much, when does this start to get better. I think sometimes I doing good when wham it hits again. You think you don't have any more tears left when  the flood gates open up. This is so exhausting mentally & physically.
I just had to hear your voice tonight, I don't know why but I was almost in a panic, so I put on your cd. I sometimes will cry when I hear your voice singing(like tonight) then sometimes sing with you and I even dance. Poor Holly thinks I'm nuts because I will make her dance with me sometimes. I have this picture of you on the frig and it is eye level with me and sometimes we dance together, I also kiss that picture all the time, whatever it takes to help me through this horrible time in my life. My heart is so heavy and aches so much for you. Just wish we would of had more time, 3 or 4 hours was not enough. That was the only time I had my Kev back, when you were in the hospital. Why Kev didn't you tell me what was going on, I have such a hard time with that. Things could of been so different and yes I would hurt but maybe not so bad. You are a very stubborn man Mr. Connors but you know that. Why did you carry this all by yourself, you must of been in a lot of pain mentally Kev, never knowing when was your last day or saying is today the day, god love you Kev. I could of help with that, not pity. Well my darling nothing we can do about it now, your not here and I going through the grieving part which is not fun. Hello My Darling,
Well the last few days have been very hard. I don't know what it is but I've been very sad and crying a lot. I guess this is part of grieving. I just miss you so much and I wish things were different but I know they can't be. Holly & I went up to the grave today hoping that would help some but I was even worst. I get so lonely without you. Holly had a great time up there, doing her laps and yes having her pees. As soon as I let her out of the jeep she runs over to your footstone and smelling it like crazy. She knows it is her daddy. 
We had some snow but someone brushed the snow off, must of been Peter. 
I was over to Mag's new place this morning, helping her get it ready for her to move in. Tonight I have a union meeting so that is a plus as well, gets my mind off of you and everything that has happen. I try to keep my days filled but sometimes that is hard to do. Some nights are really bad, I do go up to Ann & Dave's but I don't want to be a pain. They have told me that I'm not, when the warm weather comes it should be better because I can just go for a drive. Tomorrow I go back to the dentist for a filing, oh boy but it has to be done. Then on Wednesday I back to my doctor for the results of my blood work, which I think it is ok. So that will take up some of my week. But my mind is always on you and wishing you were here. Well my Darling another month is here, so hard to believe. Holly & I were up to the gravesite today and I cleaned off your footstone. She loves to preform for you, she didn't have the snow but still she goes crazy, I would be loss without her. 
I had already taken down yours & Steve's trees because they were starting to blow around. I took my Little Christmas Tree down yesterday & got Matt to help me put it in the shed. I will miss the tree because Kev you know how I love the tree lights on at night. My life is certainly not the same anymore, some days I just go through the motions because it is what I'm suppose to do. I truly believe there is only one person that understands that & it is Maggie. O well I will get through this but it certainly isn't easy. I do and will move on from this someday and start a new life without you in it, haven't quite figured that out yet, think you could help...LOL. I guess we would like to know the future but we don't, that could be a good thing.
My heavens Kev you should of been here for all the wind(106km) we had, we could of been storm chasing, they were fun. You know Kev we did have a lot of GOOD YEARS and a lot of laughter. That's what I miss. 
I do have a busy week coming up, doing some union work, so that is a good thing. I do still enjoy doing union and it certainly gives me something else to think about.

Kevin we are into another New Year,2014. Still hard to believe your not here with me to start this new year. Time is going so fast. Went out last night with Mag and listen to some Neffie & country music and watched some great seniors dance, so full of life, Kev. My thoughts keep going to you & wishing you were with me. Just to have one dance with you & for you to hold in your arms so secure & always felt I was your lady, sad I will never have that feeling with you again. I drove home and cried all the way...I did go by the gravesite and wished you & Steve "HAPPY NEW YEAR". Came home to our Holly Dolly, who gave me lots of kisses.
Well today I'm cooking a pork roast & Blair & Matt are coming down for supper. I certainly miss your cooking Hon, but I really don't mind cooking because I know they do appreciate a home cooked meals.
I still have my tree up...you know how I enjoy the lights at night watching some TV...O yes don't forget the fireplace channel...love it. I having decided when I will take the tree down...whenever.

Well my darling that "Big Day" is almost over. I got through it, I certainly had my moments but like I said I tried very hard to stay focus on Blair & the kids. The whole time missing you & wishing you were here & wanting you to help me cook the Dinner,but the good lord had other plans for you. 
I was up early and had the turkey in the oven, vegetables all peeled & waiting to go to Blair's to watch the kids open their gifts. After that was all done, Holly & I went to your gravesite. Boy Kev did she preform for you. It was a fresh dusting of snow & she was diving into the snow face first and she would run around like crazy...too cute Kev. It was like she knew you were watching & I know you were. I brushed off yours & Steve's footstone to make sure we could see you guys names. Mag & I had you both looking good, we had something like a tree all lite up for Christmas. You couldn't be here but I took Christmas to you. Then came home & started to prepare for our Christmas Dinner. It turned out ok but I think it could of been better if you had done it...sad to say because you will never do another meal for me...hurts a lot Kev. I had Mikey for the night because his Daddy was working the next day. Everything works out for a reason Kev, this all helped fill my day. O yes Kev sent you a little picture from Blair's house & guest what he has by his fireplace... Love you always & Miss you so Much...Chat again

This time a year is very difficult for us people who have lost loved ones,  that includes me, I lost you Fred a very good, dependable, loving friend, and Big Bro, three years tomorrow I lost the love of my life, Steve, it is very difficult to realize that time waits for none of us, I have the faith that you and Steve are in heaven having good ole chats about Bev and I and how lucky we were to have been married to such good men,  I also have the faith Fred that you will guide and watch over Bev and Holly,  also Steve will guide and watch over me and Prancer, there is not a day that I do not think or talk about you both.  Please  , both of you keep up looking out for Bev & I as we do need it, I keep all the good memories of you Fred very close to my heart, I am spending xmas with John & Jill and we have had a few laughs about the good old days. The months are going by so fast my darling,time waits for no one as the say.I miss you so much, my heart just aches some days. But I know life has to go on and I can do that but it still is very hard Hon, without you.
That "BIG DAY" is almost here and how I decided to handle that day was to focus on the kids, that's all I can do. Blair will have Mikey this year so that will certainly help with all his busy little self and lets not forget Matt who acts tough but really Kev there is a kid still in him as well. I wish you were here to help me cook the turkey & help prepare for the meal, Oh God it will be hard...I'm crying as a write this Kev. It just shouldn't be this way, we should of had more time. But I have to figure this all out and see what lies a head for me without you in my life but remember you will always be in my heart. Love you always & miss you so very much......chat soon.

Well my Darling here it is two months tonight. I still can't believe, that your gone. But Kev your in my heart, forever. I miss you so much, I have this emptiness in my heart and it just doesn't go away. I never thought in a million years I would be going through this so soon in my life. I'm a widow, god I hate even to say it, but it is true.I know that we all some day have to die, but I never thought it would be this soon that one of us would not be here. Also everything that when on before you passed away, so many unanswered question, that I have to figure out by myself. I'm sure that has impacted on me as well. I just wish I would have know what was going on with you and just maybe things could of been better between us. 
I was reflecting the other day looking at some pictures, and yes cried a lot. We did have some good times in our life and I guess that's what I have to remember, but I certainly wanted some more. You and I and our little girl Holly should of had more fun times together, she misses her daddy as well. Her & I went out tonight for a drive and we dropped by the gravesite, but we didn't get out of the car because it was very dark. Sometimes that gives me some peace and then sometimes I just cry & cry. Well my Darling I must go now but you are forever in my heart. Love you always & miss you so very much.

Another day has passed & Kev that's what I do one day at a time. Today I'm going to a Service of Remembrance at the Cemetery. This is a time to remember all who have gone before us. I certainly will not forget this trying time in my life. I miss you DEARLY Kev, and I'm sorry but some days I'm mad as hell that your not here to help me answer some of the questions I have. My life certainly has been turned upside down & there is days I struggle to get by. Hopefully today won't be to stressful and I can get some peace. Kev, I still find it very hard to believe your not in my life anymore. I sometimes feel I'm in a dream & I pray for someone to wake me up. We have been through alot in the last couple of years but one thing I did know was that we still loved one anyone very much. My life feels so empty & days I feel so much hurt and also anger, I dont know how to move on. I have never felt this pain before in my heart. I wish we would of had more time together so we could of prepare for this loss and just maybe I wouldn't be hurting so much. I can't believe it is two weeks tonight, where has the time gone. In the last month so much has changed,all to fast. Our "Holly Dolly" and I have been up to the grave site...she misses her daddy too. I will always love you & miss you. Until we chat again and we will. Love you my Darling....

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this message for you Bev, I know how much you loved your Kev, and I also know how much he loved his Beverly, having known Kevin (Fred) for at least 28 years, no one or nothing can ever take the great memories away that  I have of Kevin & you, our great trips,( South, Digby, Big Scoop, the visits to the Annapolis Valley, your vist to see Steve and I in Maine) these are only a few of the great trips we took,  the lovely meals Kevin cooked, (the BBQ's in Maine)I will always remember all the things Kevin did for John, Lynne and myself. Kev...It all makes sense, now...A month past, we drove to our childhood memories, round pond, the ball field, the hockey pond, our old homestead, our school..  Gone now--"Progress". As we sat on our favorite rock, and remembered the fond memories, and we  laughed..I'll miss those times with you...Remember Kevin...There are many paths up the mountain, but the view is the same at the top.......Save a spot next to you,. on a rock.. Adam and Jaclyn....as tomorrow approaches know that you are both close to my heart..I didn't have the pleasure of meeting your Dad..but from what I have read he sure was a well liked human being..who seemed to have brought lots of laughter and love to all that knew him..Draw on the strength of those that have and will surround you tomorrow and days to follow..reach out to those that are there for you to help you through...keep the memories close to your heart and always know the door is open if either of you need anything...sending lots of love and strength to you all..

   for over 40 years your dad and i have been friends, and in those 40 years there was a time when each of us considered each other as best friends.
  if you saw one of us you knew the other wasn't far behind.
  over time we drifted apart as friends tend to do, but when we did see each other now and again it was always "remember the time that we" or "remember the time that you said", and we would laugh as hard as we did back then.
   it was always so good to see him. 
i have nothing but good memories of your dad,he brought so much joy and laughter into my life.
  i was driving home from work the day i read youd dads obituary in the paper, and i was thinking of him, when on the radio came the song "smoke on the water". your dad used to play that song when he had his band "autumn", he did a terrific job of it as usual, your dad was a great singer but he was a awesome , awesome guitar player.
  i will miss your dad greatly, he was a true friend and i will never forget him.

I remember your Dad when he would come to pick up Adam (I was babysitting Adam the year he was 4)and he would have Jackie with him and he would be heading out to take you guys sledding or to the playgrounds. He was a loving Daddy.  Keep those good memories close to your heart.

Jackie, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad.  There is always a special love between a daughter and her father .. he is her first love and often I have heard young girls say that when they grow up they are going to marry their Dad.  I think that is why we always look for a man who has the same values and strength that you always saw in your father.
