Connors Kevin Michael It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband Kevin; father, brother, uncle, grandfather, brother-in-law and good friend. Kevin passed away peacefully on September 13, 2013, in the VG Site, QE11,Halifax, with his devoted wife Beverly, and family by his side.Kevin was born April 13, 1953, in Halifax; he was the youngest son of late Alfred Bert and Marion Adtha (Doucet) Connors.He was predeceased by his parents and stepbrother, Bobby. Kevin leaving his devoted and loving wife of 29 years, Beverly; stepson, Cst.Blair Mombourquette (Kristin) Halifax; loving daughter, Jaclyn (Glen) Zwicker, Tantallon; loving son, Adam-Boomer (Gillian), Halifax; devoted brother, Peter (Margaret), Halifax; step sister, Jean, Montreal; loving grandchildren, Matthew Mombourquette, Halifax; Papa’s girls, Morgan and Emily Zwicker, Tantallon; Michael Mombourquette, Chester; two thoughtful nieces, Alanna and Melissa and great niece, Jorja. Kevin also leaves many caring brother and sister in law; many nieces and nephews, whom Kevin loved in his own way. Kevin’s fully 4 pawed baby girl “Holly”, will miss him. Kevin had a love for music; he played in the bands Autumn and Circuit, and he was an awesome singer and guitar player. Kevin worked for many years at Speedy Propane also Hope Cottage. Kevin had a passion for boxing where he volunteered at Twin City Boxing Club, Dartmouth, where he shared his skills and knowledge with many young boys and girls. Kevin looked so forward to his trips to the sunny south every year, with his wife and his friends. Kevin will be remember for his keen sense of humor, great jokes. He took great pride in his cooking, he could be found watching the cooking channel, Kevin always found time to BBQ a good steak or over cooked hot dogs for family and friends. He touched the hearts of many, he will be missed by all who knew him. Until his death Kevin, was self-employed. Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on September 21st, at 1 pm, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood, Dr., Halifax. Reception to follow at Snows Funeral Home. Burial will take place at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Fairview.Family flowers by request only; in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, or a Charity of one’s choice.
