Keith met his wife Marita at a YMCA dance in 1958. They were married at St Paul's Church on August 6, 1960. Keith was an avid runner completing the New York Marathon in 1985. He supported the Terry Fox Run from 1981-2013. Keith enjoyed hiking, gardening, watching Westerns and spending time with his family. He especially liked leading family "adventures" into Susie's Lake and the woods around the bi-hi. Many exciting stories have come from those treks. He had a wonderful sense of humour, a kind spirit, and a gentle soul. His strength was an inspiration to all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 30 at St James Anglican Church, Armdale Halifax. Rev. Rachael Parker presiding. Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Halifax. A special thanks to the VON, Bayshore HealthCare, and Leona for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers donations to the Terry Fox Foundation can be made in Keith’s memory.
