During the early eighties,I was made to feel very welcome whilst staying as a guest with June.She tolerated my non religious  stance,and was always a great hostess.
  One day I was playing a recently purchased LP of Steely Dan,a little too loud.June looked daggers at me,but said nothing.A nice lady,with two good sons,and a lovely daughter.

I first met June during my time courting Wendy,her daughter.She always treated me well,and was a very welcoming lady.I stayed at her home several times,and always felt her warmth.I struggled with my beliefs,and June always helped me.
A truely lovely lady.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her from the couple of time you took to her house and the cottage. I remember a gracious lady and I can imagine that she was quite a prayer warrier. Thinking of you

 So sad to hear about June's passing. We only knew her from Ponhook but I always looked for her to pass along in front of our trailer with a wave and a comment about the weather.  Occassionally she would stop in to have a rock on the rocking chair and have some pretty goods talks about the Bible!  She certainly was devoted to her family and you all have that to be proud of.  Cherish her memory and know that others care as well.
