Age 80, of Halifax, died on Thursday July 6th 2023 surrounded by family.
Born in East Chester, she was the daughter of Wilfred James Zinck and Violet Marie Zinck (Baker).
Survived by her husband H. David Nickerson; daughter Cathy [Ken] MacRae; son Stephen [Sherri] Nickerson; grandson Matthew MacRae; and sisters Joyce James and Barbara Scoville. Predeceased by her parents and her brother Donald Zinck.
Visitation will be held at Grace Chapel at 255 Ross Street, Halifax on Sunday, July 9th between 6 and 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Grace Chapel on Monday, July 10th at 2 pm, followed by a reception at the chapel. A graveside service will be held following the reception at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lower Sackville.
