Judith Christine Morris

Age 64, Halifax. Passed away after a long battle with cancer on May 26, 2015 at the VG site of the QEII Hospital, in her daughter's arms. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of Madeline MacMillan (Smith) and the late Malcolm MacMillan.

Judy is lovingly remembered by her husband Michael Morris; daughters, Jennifer (Evan Wile) and Dawn-Louise (Michael Hunter); grandchildren, Zoe, Hannah, Jonah and Alexander; brothers, Neill (Debbie) and Murray (Elizabeth); nieces and nephews. Judy enjoyed most of her career with the Royal Bank, retiring in 2010 from the Lacewood Branch. Her and Michael celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past November. She loved to travel, especially to warm climates and to the family cottage at Parlee Beach, NB and devoted much of her recent years to her adored grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and visitation will be Sunday, May 31st from 2-4 and 6-8pm at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531). Memorial service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, June 1st at St Peter's Anglican Church at 3 Dakin Drive. Please wear bright colours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
