Mum was born in Fairview on July 6, 1930, to the late Charles and Carolyn Duggan. Mum was predeceased by her husband Gerald (Babe) in 2006. Mum enjoyed a full and rewarding life. She loved spending time with her children. Our home on Morningside Drive was always full of friends and family. Summers were spent at Shad Bay, Schooner Cove, Porters Lake and West Jeddore.
Mum was a lifelong Montreal Canadians fan and an avid bridge player. She enjoyed travelling to Florida each year with Dad, and in recent years, her Boston adventures with her daughters. She loved her European river tours and she even ventured to Australia to visit her granddaughter. She also looked forward to her yearly trip to the Quarterdeck with her brother and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Marilyn), Catherine (Michael), David (Sue), Beth (Joe), Anne (Dave), and Jeffrey (Susan). She adored her 14 grandchildren, Jennifer, Joanne, John, Jeff, Wendy, Ben, Ted, Katie, Michael, Laura, Davey, Emily, Jacob, and Madison, and the feeling was mutual. Her great-grandchildren also held a special place in her heart: Ryan, Sara, Morgan, Alea, Annie, Harley, and Garrett. She is also survived by her brother, Eric (Kay), sisters, Dana (Paul), and Judy (Stan), her aunt,Sister Virginia Deal and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive (902-455-0531) on Wednesday, December 17, from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 10 AM at St. Ignatius Church in Bedford.
