Chisholm (Kidston), Joan Mary, age 83, of Purcell’s Cove, passed away Friday July 13, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary site. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the Late Frank and Agnes (Keefe) Kidston.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Rusty, son Tim (Vanessa Smith), sister Shirley Robertson (Dan Brown), along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Bert and Francis, and sister Jean Purcell.
Visitation will at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St, on Thursday July 19 between 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral will be at St John the Baptist Church on the Purcell’s Cove Road on Friday July 20 at 11am with burial in St Paul’s Cemetery in Herring Cove.
