Jeff was a huge part of my childhood. From the beginning of junior high until a few years after. He was always making everyone laugh with his crazy antics. He taught me how to drive stick (his poor car didn't like that very much) and was always the life of all of our parties.
I remember we would all gather at my house to hang out and wait for whatever my mother was cooking that day.
To Jeff's family, fiance & children - your loss is insurmountable. I hope you take solace in knowing that Jeff was a huge part of so many lives.  He made my high-school years unforgettable, and I owe him the biggest thank you for that.

Janet, Eddy, Andy and Ashley and children.  We cannot express the sadness we feel after learning of Jeff's passing.   We lost touch over the years, but we knew Jeff as a young  boy and young teen and he always had a smile on his face.  Jeff stood out in many ways, mostly because he was a gentle giant on the ice and the baseball field.  Our son Chaunc played hockey with Jeff (honestly they where not pros, but boy they could entertain the crowd and the parents became a family, cheering all the kids on).  Jeff stood out as he was always there protecting the other players as he seemed to be the protector and we knew if he was on the ice, he was looking out for the other kids.  Later in summer times, we all gathered at the baseball field for the summer, again Jeff was there with his family and so good natured.   What we remember most is his smile and he genuinely was just there to have fun, his family support was evident as I cannot remember a  hockey game or baseball game that Janet, Eddy or Andy where not there.  We all drift apart as our children grow, but you still have that connection.  Ashley hold your children tight and let them know their dad is watching over them.   Our hearts are with all of you. Jeff and I played hockey together during our jr high / high school years.  While we didn’t keep in touch passed that, I always knew he was one of the good guys. I heard about his passing through old team mates and class mates. He sure will be missed.

Jeff was such an amazing person my good old childhood friend we grew up in the same trailer park and went to school together we will be  missed so much I like to send my thoughts and prayers to his family 

I'm so saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. We had a lot of great times growing up in Timberlea. Most of them on the ballfield.  
You could always count on Jeff to rip one over the fence when he was up to bat, and see him trying to hide that sly grin while he rounded the bases. He would even tell you exactly where he was going to put it, and sure  enough he would. 
The many jokes, and laughs. My grade 8 semi formal date. More recently, we talked about our kids, and being parents.
My deepest heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew him and loved him.  

As a family our hearts are broken with the loss of Jeffrey. A dear boy taken to soon.  One memory I do have if when we left our little cove
in Tantallon and went fishing along the Shining water Marina, Jeffrey
