Survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary (Himmelman) and children, Stephen, Hacketts Cove, Catherine, Bedford, Richard/Faye Doyle, Sackville, Thomas/Jillian, Surrey, B.C.,Gregory, Shad Bay, Tony, Halifax, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his mother, Ada Byrne, son, Daniel, daughter-in-law, Faye.
Jack worked as a manager at Maritime Tel and Tel for 34 years. During his retirement Jack pursued his hobbies of oil painting and woodworking. Jack was a prolific painter in the Bob Ross style and a talented woodworker gifting his many artistic creations to family and friends. Jack also enjoyed square dancing with the love of his life, Mary.
