Heather grew up in Canso, Nova Scotia. Her love for water and the outdoors came from being a strong swimmer and figure skater in her youth. Heather liked sports, she helped coach the baseball team in Canso. Heather and her husband Don had a passion for wrestling that they passed onto their children. If you ever sat next to her during a TV match, you were sure to be knocked out of your seat by her jumping and yelling at the screen. Heather had the opportunity to meet many of her favourite wrestlers over the years.
One of Heather’s favourite pass times was to take Justice and head to the boardwalk in Eastern Passage to grab a fresh order of fish and chips before heading off to her other favourite pass time, BINGO! Heather loved playing Bingo, if you ever entered a bingo hall you would be sure to see her sitting in her regular spot with her Pepsi and plain potato chips, waiting to hear her lucky numbers B12 and O66.
Heather worked as a crosswalk guard for more than 18 years for the North and South Woodside Schools.
