Haibo was born on 15th August 1969 and raised in Qingdao China. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked for the Institute of Aquaculture in Qingdao not long before embarking on a journey to work and live abroad, during which time Haibo travelled to work in countries like Dubai, South Africa, Singapore and Hong Kong before finally settling in Halifax, Canada in 2008. He quickly became an integral part of the local community and made many friends along the way.
In the early days of trying to settle in Halifax, Haibo worked for several companies including Clear Water and Canadian Gold Seafood Company. For the past 12 years, Haibo worked at Cameron Seafood. Wherever he worked, he took great pride in his work and was well-respected by his colleagues. He was passionate about his job and always gave his best effort. His achievements at work were a source of great pride for him.
Haibo was a family man through and through. He loved spending time with his wife and extended family. His pet dog, Honey, was like a princess that he adored deeply. He was a devoted husband, son, and brother, and his family was the most important thing in his life.
Haibo will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart, warm smile, and gentle nature touched the lives of many, and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Rest in peace, Haibo.
Haibo is survived by his wife XuRong, Shan, Parents and younger sister.
The funeral service will be held on 19th March 2023, at 2:00pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1.
