WALKER, GLORIA MARGARET, Halifax, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018 at the QEII hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Jessie Mara. Gloria worked as an Executive Secretary for the Red Cross (Blood Transfusion Service) and a number of prominent medical specialists.
In 1962, she married her loving husband, Les Walker. They enjoyed 55 wonderful years together. They had two sons, Peter (Colleen) and Gregory (Carolyn) and four grandchildren, Christina, Matthew, David, and
Ian. Her family meant everything to her.
She is survived by two sisters, Joan and Colleen (Gary).
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 15th, 10 AM at St. Agnes Church, Mumford Road, Halifax.
