Geraldine "Geri" May Colquhoun

Born in Brooklyn New York she was the daughter of Marjorie (Berringer) and Max Martin.

In her early years in New York mom was a model and appeared in many magazines and catalogs of the day. Music was an important part of her life and she was in many recitals at Steinway Hall in New York. Mom attended Berkley School in Manhattan and then worked for the National Association of Manufacturers before coming to Canada. During her early married life mom was an active member of Honorable Joseph Howe Chapter of Eastern Star.

Geri is survived by her daughter Jan Misener (Alex MacDougall) and step-daughters Caitlyn Colquhoun (Barrie Dunn) and Sandy McKenna (Ron); son Randy Misener (Nancy Holland) and step son Steve Colquhoun (Brenda); brother Robert “Bob” Martin (Sheila Mason); grandchildren Sara (Chris), Rob (Amy), Mallory and Nathan; great grandson Asher; niece Betty Ann; and nephews Peter and Phillip (deceased).

She was predeceased by her husband Walter “Bill” and son Stephen L. Misener.

Memorial service will take place on Monday June 12 at 10am in J A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Rev. Kevin Little officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ukraine Crisis Response through: donate.worldvision.ca
