Francis 'Frank' Stoneman

Born in Halifax. Frank was a son of the late Frank G. and Beryl (Foley) Stoneman.

For many years Frank was employed at Ben’s Bakery and retired after 28 years at Capital Health, VG Site in the maintenance department.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he was always there to help his fellow man and friends at the cottage at Lake Peter.

Frank was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Rosalie (Nickerson) on June 13, 2015, his oldest son, Todd Anthony, brothers, Robert (Bob), Wilfred (Bill) and sister Sharon Burke.

He is survived by his son Kevin, Lr. Sackville, daughter-in-law Nicole (late Todd), Lr. Sackville, grandsons Anthony, Shilo, MN., Thomas, Oromocto, NB, Jonathon, St. John’s, NF, granddaughter, Alyssa Vaillancourt, Enfield.

Frank will also be missed by his brother Jim (Mary) Fall River, sisters, Joan Fleckney, Maplestone Enhanced Care, Peggy (Patrick) McNair, Clayton Park, Joyce (Lester) Wah, Sober Island, Norma (Albert) Sladden, Hammonds Plains and several nieces and nephews

Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no visitation.

A memorial celebration of Frank’s life will take place at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, on Saturday, July 11 at 2:00 pm.

Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lr. Sackville.
