Evangeline Rose Tanner

TANNER – Evangeline (Vange) Rose passed away peacefully at the QEII Hospital, on Sunday May 15, 2010 at the age of 85. Born in Cap-Pele, NB, she was a daughter of the late Philiose and Lavinia (Cormier) Lorette. The daughter of a logger, Vange grew up in various logging communities around Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Vange had a zest for life and loved the outdoors. She is survived by son Barry (Pearl) Hd of St. Margaret’s Bay, grandchildren Kellie (James) Potter and Danny, brother Albert, Cambridge, Mass., and sisters, Doris Girouard, Amherst, Elizabeth Lirette, Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Raymond and several brothers and sisters. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 2-4 pm. Service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at J.A Snow Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sackville, NS
