

Born in Halifax, Betty joins her parents the late Marion (Johnston) Mansfield, Joseph Bowden and step-father Raymond Mansfield.
She leaves behind, Arnold Mombourquette the father of her three children, Demond, Rachelle, Chantelle and grandchildren Jaylyn, Deandre and Aminah who all love her dearly.
She is also survived by her sisters Deborah, Patricia, Brenda, Diane, Jessie, and Winnie of Halifax; Mary (Ray) of Dartmouth. Step-sisters Geraldine and Alice of Guysborough. Brothers Raymond (Diana) of Alberta, Peter of Quebec, Joseph of Ontario, Paul and Wayne both of Halifax. Uncles, Harold and Gordon Johnston, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Darline Mansfield.
Betty was the matriarch of the family; the glue that held everyone together; selfless and strong; an angel in human form who loved a good sale. You could often find her in the kitchen making her famous chicken pot pie to brighten someone’s day. She dedicated over 40 years of service to Wendy’s Restaurant and the Atlantic Superstore.
Her loving spirt will be missed greatly.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 25, 2022 6-8pm. Funeral service Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2 pm. Both will take place at J.A. Snow Funeral Home located at 339 Lacewood Drive. Rev. Lennett Anderson officiating.
