Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late James & Catherine (Perry) Bell. Affectionately known as “Leen” by her husband, she worked in the retail sector for many years at Zellers and Sears. She was a long-time member of the Foresters of Canada. She enjoyed playing bingo and crib with her lifelong friends. Eileen was incredibly thoughtful and caring and was extremely proud of her family. Her gentle smile and sparkling blue eyes will be missed.
She is survived by sons Patrick (Anna), Rick (Brenda), both of Bedford, Campbell of Halifax, grandchildren Allana (Greg), Patrick, Jillian (Will), Joffre (Vicki), Lauren (Philip), Brendan, great grandchildren Ethan, Aylee, Thomas, Hannah, Wesley and Aiden. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew (Gump), sisters Catherine (Win), Edith, Molly, brothers Charles (Bud), Bill, Hedley, Tommy and Campbell.
The family thanks Mickey Mckinlay for the caring and friendship she bestowed on her over the years.
