Drake, Edna G., age 87 years old, passed away on August 13, 2013, of natural causes at Melville Lodge. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Leslie) of St. Catherine’s River, Queens County, NS. Edna is survived by her daughters, Diane, Eleanor (Kenneth) and Leonise; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony P Drake; brothers Weldon, Gordon, and Maynard; sisters Esther, Vivian, Lorna and Thelma. Visitation to be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531) on Sunday August 18, at 6 – 8 pm, funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the J. A. Snow Memorial Chapel.
