Age 76, Earl Wm. Young (Billy) passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty Ann and his three daughters; Joann (Miles), Lisa (Tony) and Crisy along with 5 grandchildren, Vicki, Andrew, Kyle, CJ and Ryan. Although long retired, he worked with the Halifax Water Commission for over 30 years.
Home was his castle and he enjoyed backyard gatherings and more importantly spending time with his grandchildren. As per his wishes there will be no funeral service. Instead a graveside service for the family will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
