Diane "Lady Di" Ethel Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Williams announce her passing on August 9, 2022 at the age of 77 surrounded with love. Devoted mother, proud grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, master knitter, avid reader, and professional Bingo player.

Left with cherished memories are sons, John (Cory), Patrick (Marlene) and daughter, Heather (Jeff) Grandy. Her pride and joy grandchildren, Michele, Mackenzie, Matthew, Hunter and Luke; her beautiful great-grandchildren, Carter and Madison; sister, Margaret and brother, David as well as numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. Diane was predeceased by her one true love, her Tommy Doodlebug John “Tom” Williams; her parents David and Ethel Lambton and her brothers, Bruce, Gordon and Woody.

Besides her family, Diane leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you to please consider honoring her memory by doing a good deed and spreading kindness.

A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 16 at 1pm from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax.
