With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved little sister Debbie at the Halifax Infirmary surrounded by her loving family on July 11th 2014. Debbie enjoyed family gatherings, music and especially Christmas. She was mommy's and daddy's little angel and now she walks hand and hand with her daddy in heaven where she has no physical or mental limitations. Debbie is survived by her mother June who for 42 years was tirelessly devoted to Debbie in every way, brother Joseph (Carla), sisters Mary Beaman (Jim), Kathy Garrison (Blair), Cheryl Misener (Ronnie), Joyce Matthews (Tony), Kim Moyles (Keith), Tanya Walters (Paul). Nieces Jennifer, Natasha, Chelsea, Shelby, Emma, Delilah, Finley and Paisley. Nephews BJ, Jimmy, Brandon, Mitchell, Gabe , Danny,Sam, Camreon and Owen. Debbie was predeceased by her doting father Joseph, brothers James and Daniel, paternal grandmother Mary, maternal grandmother Mae and nephew Michael. Heartfelt thanks to Mom's neighbour and friend Margaret Henry whose medical ability allowed us time to spend with Debbie and to say our goodbyes. Special thanks to the medical staff at the Halifax Infirmary QEII Unit 5.2 especially to nurses Jane and Pat who’s caring and compassion provided comfort at a very difficult time. Thank you To Father Bem SDS, who went above and beyond to provide spiritual anointing for Debbie in her final hour. Visitation will be Monday, July 14th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. With Funeral service at 1 pm Tuesday July 15,2014 both in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Burial to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only.
