Keeping, Dean Perry, age 59 of Halifax, passed away unexpectedly at home, on November 4,2017. Sadly we lost our beloved Dean brother, uncle and dear friend.
Dean’s challenge in this life was schizophrenia, a burden he managed with quiet dignity. One of Dean’s greatest joys was his loyalty and helpfulness to his friends. Dean’s journey through life presented many obstacles, yet he managed to remain positive and lived each day with a strong spirit.
Dean is survived by brothers Mark, Kevin and Blain and nieces and nephews.
Dean was predeceased by his parents Clyde and Audrey (Stevens) Keeping.
Cremation has taken place and a private interment will occur at a later date, as will a celebration of Dean’s life.
Memorial donations if desired may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia.
