Thinking of you today "Charlie" on your one year anniversary!  We never forget those who have touched our lives!  

 I was fortunate to have known Charlie ,the Chan Man since I hung out with Pat and Fee at their place during the St. Stephen's School days. How the time has flown.
Through the years Charlie was always a great friend to my brothers and I and we shared many laughs and grand times. He taught us much and he will be forever missed and loved.
Thanks Charlie for being yourself and sharing your life and times with so many.

I will always remember Charlie with a smile on his face.  I worked at the Misty Moon and he was a regular at Kempt Road. You could tell he enjoyed and appreciated the music, and was a regular on the dance floor.  RIP Charlie!  Condolences to his loved ones!!

I first remember Charlie from my brother, Doug’s,  class at St Stephen’s.  We have great memories of him through the years, his laughter and love of music.    Rick always liked to see him come through the side door at the Old Halifax.  He had lots of stories and joking about Donnie Kelly!  He was quite the mimic.  We are away and will miss the celebration in March, but will raise a glass that day in his memory!

I lived in northend Halifax next door to the Roach family of 7.  Lots of great memories when hanging out with Charlie and his great sense of humour, always teasing and carrying on, keeping everyone well entertained.   He was a character and fun loving. Sincere condolences to Charlie's family,  I have many childhood memories of times too long ago.  Great memories of a kind and crazy guy, and of course he loved his music. Simply grateful for the few times we connected over the years...be at peace Charlie.

I was working as a nurse at the V.G. when Charlie came in following his accident. Extraordinary is an understatement. He had an indomitable spirit and a crazy sense of humour. One of the patients that made my career memorable and taught me a lot about life.My most sincere condolences to his family.

I'll always be grateful for the abundance and knowledge of music that charlie introduced me to. Fond memories at Charlie's house listening to music for hours , then running out to buy the album . We had great times together and he will be forever loved and missed. Kenny Brown.

Known Charlie Chan many a year .....cut his hair for many yrs as well ...he was a great man proud of his daughter and family ...proud to know the man ...he was one of a kind ....and will be missed ...Godspeed my friend till.we.meet again !!
