WAMBOLT (Gage), Colleen R. 83, of Halifax passed away April 3, 2012 at Northwood Centre. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Helen (Drysdale) Gage. Colleen was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a long-time member of St. Mark's Church and was very involved in church life. She was an accomplished tap dancer, performing for troops during war time. More recently, she performed with the Northwood Players and even taught other seniors to tap dance. Colleen maintained her loving and gracious personality up until the last day of her life, and will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. Survived by her "greatest accomplishment", children: Trudy (Bruce) Moore; Terry Wambolt; Tammy (Russell) Pentney; Tracy (Jim Bent) Wambolt; and Tina Pretty, as well as 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Harold Gosse. She was predeceased by husband, Cecil Rhodes Wambolt; siblings: Beryl (Jim) Soward; Marlene Gosse; Shirley (George) Willman; Joy and Paul Gage. Visitation will be Tuesday, Apr. 10 at 2-4 and 6-8 pm at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, Lacewood Dr. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 11 at 10 am at St. Mark's Anglican Church, corner Russell and Gottingen Streets, Rev. John Morell. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Society of NS. Words cannot express our gratitude for the angels who cared for our mother during the past year.
