colleen....what beautiful memories...brought tears to my eyes...but also a smile to my face..he will always be in my prayers.

My condolences to the Flinn family on the occasion of Chris's death. I have many fond memories of him during my numerous visits to Oxford Street when Roger and I were young and in later years meeting him at rinks watching our sons play hockey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of my friend.  He was not just a client.  We talked about Ryan and Sean's hockey and the family in general and my staff looked forward to Chris coming into our office.  I was so sorry to have missed the wake and funeral.    I along with my wife Ann and my sons Nicholas and Matthew wish to convey to you, that Chris's passing leaves us full of sadness.

  Chris and I spoke everyday about articles in the paper over gallons of coffee at the Ardmore, where he was a fixture. We even poked fun at people. My son Nicholas sat with us and Chris engaged him with enthusiasm and respect which I appreciated. He spoke and joked with my wife whenever she attended. Each day he would call Lindsay at 8:30 am and then hear from Ryan and or Sean,and describe their escapades, proudly reminding me how much he adored his children. Recently we talked about a new car and how to negotiate the best deal. He would chuckle about of his wife driving it. Eventually she approved the car and he bought his all black sports car. 

  Chris was a dedicated father, loving husband, a humorous and sensitive person; good to me and my family, deserving of my respect. He is sadly missed. May the healing of time pass quickly for you.

We are as shocked as we are saddened, at Chris' untimely death. We carry the fondest of memories for Chris, many of which come rushing at us at this time. Chris' extreme work ethic and strong sense of family stand out among his many attributes. Chris has richly earned the best testimonial that a man can earn; offspring who are a credit to his name and to his influence as a father and a role model. This morning's 6:00 AM hockey practice was difficult because it is the environment in which I knew him best and which he loved! We will miss him.

Dear Coleen, Ryan, Sean, and Lindsay,
I would so profoundly like to take away some of the pain and sense of loss that you all are experiencing.  While I am unbelievably stunned and saddened by Chris’ passing, I also instantly reflected on his life.  The minute I heard of this heartbreaking news from one of my dearest friends in life, Ryan, I thought about his legacy.  Chris Flinn had and will forever have what every man wants, unconditional love for and from his family.  I aspire to be like Chris; loved, respected, and enjoyed.  But most of all, I would love nothing more than for my daughters to turn out even an iota like Ryan, Sean and Lindsay.  All who knew Chris will deeply miss him, but I can’t help but smile when I think of him.
