On behalf of all the cousins from Boston, who knew and loved Cecil, our deepest sympathy.   We were blessed to know such a cousin and friend.  Loved his phone calls to my father Bob, and visits with my Nana De on PEI.   Cecil's obituary was written beautifully.  Dear Cecil,  rest in peace.

We were saddened to learn of Cecil's passing, but we are certain that he will rest in peace, after all of the good works he did in his life-time. We have fond memories of Cecil's visits to Prince Edward Island, where he was a guest in the homes of Herb and ''Katie'' DeYoung, and of Frank and Margaret Kelly. Many a card game, and lots of stories were enjoyed. We can still hear his voice of prayer ringing throughout the little country church of St. Brigid's , in Foxley River, P.E.I. The Oakley Family,
I knew Cecil as a good friend of my Mom's. He was a vivacious character with an indominatable spirit. His work for Spencer House, running the Bingo games, planning outings, being a friend to all the members, he had enrgy to make everyone feel good. He always made me laugh when I saw him. 
I am glad to have known Cecil. He will be missed.

To the Oakley Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Cecil. He was a very dear friend. We went on many bus trips with Spencer House. We attended Children of Mary gatherings together. I will miss his daily telephone calls , just to chat. 
God has called him to his eternal rest.

My sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful person.  I knew Cecil for many years. He was a dear friend. He was always kind, consideratate and generous to me.  Cecil was a special person and will always be remembered fondly by me.  I am deeply saddened by his loss as I know you must be too.
