Cameron was born on September 11, 1981 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He is survived by his wife Natasha, two children Zoie (age 10) and Henry (age 7), his parents Frank and Wendy Richardson, sister Devon Richardson as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cameron attended elementary and junior high school in Halifax and senior high school at Kings - Edgehill School in Windsor, Nova Scotia. He also attended Saint Mary’s University in the business program.
At the time of his death, Cameron was a valued employee at Quality Concrete in Halifax. It was his dream come true to be driving a truck every day.
Cameron’s greatest joys in life were his children and his time spent with family at the Cottage. His world revolved around the wants and needs of his children. He devoted his entire life to them, managing their sports, school and other activities. His dog Tucker and cat Fefe also played a key role in his family life. He never lost faith that, one day, the Toronto Maple Leafs would win the Stanley Cup!
Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Cameron fell in love with his larger than life gentle and calming personality and his even bigger heart. He was a friend to all, willing to pitch in and help family, neighbours and strangers alike.
Cameron chose to be an organ and tissue donor and for that he will live on forever within others carrying the Richardson Strong Bloodline! Thank you, Cameron, from the bottom of each recipient’s heart. This was Cameron’s final act of unselfish kindness to others.
