Bruce Burton Dorey

Dorey, Bruce Burton, Dartmouth passed away Friday May 20, 2011 in Glades Lodge with his wife by his side. Born in Beech Hill Lunenburg County. He was a son of the late John and Kathleen (Hatt) Dorey. He owned and operated Dorey’s Grocery in Woodlawn for many years and also drove for Blue Bell Taxi as car # 115. Bruce enjoyed the great outdoors especially hunting, fishing and gardening. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him, and had an awesome sense of humor. He is survived by his wife the former Colleen Sole, sisters Mildred Williams, Dartmouth; Laverne and Louise, Annapolis Valley and many nieces and nephews’. He was predeceased by sisters Beatrice and Gloria. A memorial service will be held 10 am Wednesday May 25, 2011 in St. Clements Church, Gaston Rd. Dartmouth. Rev Gilbert Bertrand OMI officiating.
