WILSON, Brenda Doreen – 83, of Halifax passed away December 14, 2011 at Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax.
Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Louisa Fowler. Brenda came to Canada in 1958. She taught at Kings Edgehill in Windsor N.S. She directed various church choirs and taught piano lessons to many. Brenda is survived by step-daughter Mary-Lou of New Ross, Lun. County, N.S., step-son David (Pat) of Fredericton, N.B., brother Allan of England and several step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Lloyd. Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 from 12-1pm on Tuesday, December 20th, with a memorial service following at 1:00pm in the chapel. Interment will be held in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. A special thank you to the staff of Parkstone Sullivan’s Lane.
