Brenda Deanna Fraser

Age 75, passed away in the QEII hospital on February 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Solomon and Mae Slaunwhite.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 57 years Paul, sons Wayne (Pauline), David (Karen), Trevor and daughter Kelly (Bob). Grandchildren Ryan, Christopher, Stephanie and great grandson Noah. She is also survived by sisters; Joyce, Shirley, Jeanette and brothers Ken, Vernon, Sherman and Michael.

Brenda took great pride in taking care of her home and raising her children in the early days. Later in life she found great pleasure in the simple things like taking pictures of the wildlife that ventured into the backyard, doing her Lexicon puzzles, watching the shopping channel, but mostly enjoyed just being with her family. She enjoyed a good joke, loved to laugh, and to make people laugh.

Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held on Friday February 24th, 2017, 2:00 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the NS lung Association, or any charity of choice.

Brenda will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully.
