Bonita Kathryn Price

Age 98, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, N.S. Born in Halifax, Bonita spent some time living in London, England and Toronto before returning to Halifax. Bonita was predeceased by her parents, Ellis Price and Mary (Reed) Price, brothers, Ellis (Buddy) and Douglas, and sister in law, Norma (MacKay).

Bonita worked as an administrative assistant in many different fields, ending her career as an executive assistant at the Dalhousie Arts Centre. She spent many years volunteering for Meals on Wheels, and was a great lover of animals, and reading. She enjoyed travelling with her sister in law, Norma and they had many great adventures in Europe.

Bonita is survived by her nieces Christine and Victoria and nephew David; as well as Christine’s children, Michael, Andrew and Johanna. Our family would like to thank the staff of the Berkeley Gladstone, 4.2 Halifax Infirmary and 9A Victoria General for their kind and compassionate care.

A private family celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bide Awhile Shelter.
