Anthony Charles Johnson

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, brother, and sister: Myra, Andre, and Alysha Johnson of Halifax; father, Francis Downey (Belinda) of Dartmouth; his love, Tracy Briand; and their cherished daughters, Masondra Briand and Keona Johnson of Dartmouth; his brothers, Kevin Glasgow of Toronto, Francis Downey (Tara) of Eastern Passage, Geil Downey of Dartmouth, Channing Colley of East Preston, Moreldo Downey of Dartmouth, Jui’keithen Downey of Dartmouth; his sisters Shannon Downey of Cole Harbour, Moisha Askett (Nathaniel) of Eastern Passage, Bethany Colley of East Preston and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Doris Johnson of Dartmouth. Anthony is predeceased by his grandparents Bernard Johnson of Dartmouth; Francis Downey, Sr. and Folisha Downey of North Preston.

He was born in Halifax, August 19, 1988 and resided in the North End of the city.

Anthony loved to laugh, watch movies and spend time with his friends and family. Easy going, quick to smile, and good natured, Anthony adored his kids and very much enjoyed being a dad. He will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life for Anthony Charles Johnson will be held Saturday, February 15th at 4PM at the Mulgrave Park Caring and Learning Centre. The Centre is located at 57 Jarvis Lane, Halifax. All are welcome.
