She was the daughter of the late Louis (Silver) and Catherine Margaret Teed. Lorraine was also predeceased by nephew, Scott and grand-nephew, Tyler.
Lorraine is survived by her sisters, Yvonne Beverly (Philip) Melanson, and Sharon (Tommy) O’Hearn; mother-in-law, Ina Coolen; sisters-in-law, Linda, Schereen, Karen, and Gaye Coolen; nephews, Terry (Betty-Ann) O’Hearn, and Christopher Melanson; niece, Giselle (Jon) Tattrie; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Lorraine worked for Sears (Accounting) for over 20 years. Post-retirement, she so graciously volunteered for many years at the Halifax Infirmary.
Lorraine was known for her loving spirit and extreme generosity, often going beyond her means to give to everyone, especially the children in her family.
Funeral Mass on Friday, February 16 at St. John the Baptist Parish at 10:00 AM with reception to follow in the church hall.
