M Lorraine Burnick

M. Lorraine Burnick passed away on September 5th, 2015. She was 83 years old, formerly of Leonia and Hackensack, N.J. and she expired in Las Vegas, NV where she resided for the past 25 years. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Burnick; longtime partner of Robert Hilke; devoted mother of Maura Robinson and her husband, Jimmy Wang, Dean Burnick and his wife, Monica; loving grandmother of Emily and Aaron LaFountaine, and Sarah Burnick and Harry Burnick; dear sister of Joanne DellaFave, Frank Mets, James Mets, Richard Mets, Kathy McBurnie, Pattie Shea and Carol Caruso.

Lorraine was well known in her working years as an Executive Assistant for high-level tax attorneys in NYC. Lorraine was active for many years in the Ladies Executive Golf Club in Sun City Summerlin, in Las Vegas, was an avid canasta player, and when living in New Jersey she was very active in her Temple and its Sisterhood.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ.
