Harvey Smith, 85, of Washington Twsp., NJ died on Sept. 23, 2013. Born in Lodi, NJ to the late Louis and Fanny Smith. He served his country during the Korean War in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. Mr. Smith worked as a state court judge in Hackensack for 20 years, and finished his career as an attorney for the Lowenstein Sandler Law Firm.
Beloved husband of Shirley Smith (nee McCormick), cherished brother of Shirley Solan of Cliffside Park, NJ and Dorothy Nussbaum of Ft. Lee, NJ, loving father of Lisa Smith and her husband Craig Friedman of New York City, NY and Louis Smith and his wife Andrea Kitzis Smith of Morristown, NJ, devoted grandfather of Caroline and Benjamin Smith.
