My first encounter with Elaine was when I started my first sales job at Parenting Magazine in 2000.  Elaine came in to meet with my bosses and I heard a very loud scream of happiness from one of them -- Elaine just told them  she was pregnant with twins.  I had heard that she had trouble getting pregnant and finally she had Gabriel and Jessica, followed a few years later with Emily.  No one worked harder than Elaine and i had never met anyone as spiritual.  To her husband, Shalom, Jessica, Gabriel, and Emily, my sincerest condolences and may Elaine be watching and guiding you.

This is Noah Ohringer, one of Elaine's colleagues at Three Pillars Recruiting. She and I worked together out of the Hackensack office. Elaine always lit up the room with her positive attitude and can-do spirit. She was the first person in the office in the mornings and the last person out. I could tell from briefly knowing her that she had a very solid work ethic, valued her interactions with colleagues and enjoyed getting to know candidates on the phone. She also always made me smile when she said Asher Yatzar with such kevana! I will miss having her in the office as I considered her a friend and wonderful person. She is sorely missed. She was so proud of her children learning in yeshiva, being a weapon's instructor in the IDF, and her daughter in high school.  Grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with her and be impacted by her to be a kinder person and hard-worker.

I am deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Elaine. As one of her co-workers, I had the pleasure of just starting to get to know her. 

Elaine had an infectious personality- it was impossible to feel anything other than genuine happiness around her. She had an unbelievable ability to make anyone feel special- she was rooting for everyone and would go above and beyond to make people feel loved and important. I remember saying to one of my co-workers, "Elaine is like everyone's mom." She was always congratulating others for their accomplishments, checking in to make sure everyone was feeling well, showering everyone with compliments, and sharing laughs. Elaine was the daily dose of serotonin we all needed, and her presence felt like a warm hug.

I believe in my heart that all of these wonderful qualities in Elaine will continue to live on, and we will all hold a special part of Elaine in our hearts.

To Elaine's family members and loved ones: May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

I am so so sorry to hear of the passing of Elaine. I worked with her for 8 years at Parenting. We had such great times together. I just cannot believe the news. My deepest sympathy to her family. Elaine will be so missed!
