Oh my!  I just found out Dave has died.   My sincere condolences to all members of Dave’s family.  As the keyboard person at Temple Emeth, I got to know Dave, Wendy, Josh, Dan and Adam.   Dave was special, caring and helpful person who on occasion helped me.   Sorry to hear of your loss.

I had the great pleasure of working with David for a few years. I enjoyed collaborating with him and also just taking a few minutes during the day to chat.  He was a creative and compassionate man. May his memory be a blessing.

I am saddened to hear of David's passing.  I will always remember him as a wonderful mentor and kind-hearted soul.  He brought intellectual curiosity, dedication, and humor to the practice of law that enriched the experiences of those who had the honor of working with him.  May he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry to hear of David's death. I met him in summer camp almost five decades ago. He was my tent-mate, and a wonderful friend that summer. So nice and smart, and a very good listener: unusual for such a young person.

David was a caring fellow member of Temple Emeth and he was a good friend in time of need. We send our loving message of condolence to Wendy, Danny, Josh, Adam, and the Kohane family. Until now I never knew that we also shared a middle name.

Singing in the Kol Emet tenor section during the High Holidays with special guest tenors David and Josh Kohane was always a treat, especially when Josh sang priceless solos or duets. David was one in a trillion and may we all think of him when he and Wendy dazzled us with their guitar work at Temple Emeth in Teaneck on many many occasions. This man will be terribly terribly missed by so-so-so many people!!! R.I.P., David!  

I had the honor and pleasure of working with David at Cole Schotz for almost 20 years.  I learned a lot from him over the the years and will be forever grateful.  He was kind, considerate, passionate in his work and also funny.  My heart goes out to Wendy and the family.  May the music never stop and his memory live on forever.

Rest in Peace David.  You will be missed.

My wife and I had the pleasure to share dinner with David and Wendy, along with their friends the Soifer's, a few years ago.  We talked about Temple Emeth, Israel, and our families.   David was warm and engaging, and we had a wonderful evening.  Our sincerest condolences to your whole family and community.

I met David through work.  He represented me in some legal matters.   In addition to being a terrific attorney, he was a true mench.  It was a pleasure to work with him.   We also worked in the same building.  When we'd meet in the elevator, in the morning or on the way to lunch, he always had a sincere smile, a kind word and the sweetness of his personality was obvious.  He will be sorely missed.

May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.

I worked at Cole Schotz eleven years and I believe David was the most pure-hearted person at the firm.  May his life be a blessing to all. 

My deepest condolences to the family. I met David at work, didn’t know him personally.  However, without a doubt, he is a wonderful human being- always had a good spirit.

We are heartbroken. He was a wonderful friend  and sweet soul. I will miss him dearly. While I’m sure these past 4 years were physically brutal , it was a gift to know he was right where he was supposed to be ; in the arms of his family . My love and prayers to you and your family ... perry

I will never forget seeing David in temple several years ago and knowing of his battle I said, “Good to see you”.  He responded, “Good to be seen”.  
What a really great guy and family man.
