Abraham Piller, 89, passed away at Englewood Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Born in Krakow, Poland to Samuel and Bertha Piller, he was a Holocaust survivor, having lived through both the Mauthausen and Ebensee concentration camps. He moved to the US in 1949 and lived in Bergenfield for 51 years. He was a long time member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Teaneck.
Beloved husband of Pauline Piller (nee Rosen) for 55 years; loving father of Barbara Maskin (David) of the Twp. of Washington and Susan Aizer (Jeffrey) of New City, NY; devoted grandfather of Carolyn and Allison Maskin and Debra Aizer; brother of the late Hannah, Celina, and Ignatz Piller.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Gutterman-Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park St., Hackensack, NJ. Interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
