Wilma June Richards

Wilma June Richards passed away on Monday, Jan. 18th, 2016. Wilma was born on Aug. 22nd, 1934 in Zion and lived there her entire life. A loving mother and grandma who placed family above all else. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and watching them grow. She was an avid bird watcher, gardener, and enjoyed sewing. Her career as an office manager for ERIC CHRISTENSEN CONSTRUCTION lasted 30 yrs. Her retirement was spent traveling and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly; brothers, Harvey, and Marion Hartness; her father and mother, Arthur and Eula Hartness. She is survived by son; Dwight(Diane S.) Richards, daughter; Rhonda Richards Dickson, and son; Russell (Debra) Richards, four grandchildren; Kristin, Nicholas, Jessica, and Catherine, three great grandchildren; Kaden, Liam, and Amelia. two sisters; Linda Rose, and Debbie Hartness, niece; Gail(Roger) French, nephew; Lewis(Laurie)Hartness, several great nieces and nephews and a her dear friend of 54yrs. Dale Gann.She lived a full life and will be deeply missed by family and friends. A Memorial Visitation will be at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee on Sat. Jan 23, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm.
