Marilyn and family, so sorry to hear about "bobby," as I knew him in Wildwood. The pictures show a loving family.  I did not know of his passing until now, very sad.  But after seeing all these pictures it looks like he had  "a wonderful life"

One year without out our coffee outings.  So miss you dearest brother.

For my friend, his dear family, and all of us:

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying...

I grew up across the street from Bobby  and Marilyn in Wildwood. Marilyn is my oldest and dearest friend. We would lay on the floor in front of the pic window with the sun streaming down on us playing dolls. Bobby would come in with his truck and want to join us. Wonderful memories of the little blonde brother. RIP dear Bobby.

Bob was my best friend in grade & high school. I road my bicycle to his house seemed to be every weekend .when we were in high school we'd go eat at the oasis on I94 & buy 8 track tapes. We'd go camping in Wisconsin at rocky arbor state park had a great time almost burned the place down starting a camp fire thank God we got it out. Then we dug up some small trees to take home but got stopped by the campground guard said it was against the law so we had to replant them. Bob has always been close to my heart every time I talk about my child life he is there with me. I'm so glad he had Liz  they were perfect together.Love you Bob rest in peace

You will be remembered Buddy because you have left a large fingerprint here on earth by your wonderful family and all of us you have left behind!

This photo was from a trip we took to California in my 70 Mustang. Once again we were attempting to drive straight thru but I blew a tire on I70 and we were forced to lay over in Denver to get it fixed.  The picture is from a cheap hotel we rented and Bob had exploded his stuff all over the room.  I was harassing him for being a mess and he was laughing at me for blowing the tire.

This is my favorite picture of Bob.

I met Bob in high School and he  became my first best friend.  After high school we rented our first apartment and took many trips together quite a few of them to see Joan who had moved to Fla.  We took our first trip to Fla right out of high school.   Bob, myself, Frank Brooks and Steve Crowley piled into Bob's cherry 1970 Cutlass and drove 18 hrs straight to Daytona.  We stopped at the first beach we came to about 20 miles up the coast from Daytona, noticed it was deserted, stopped the car and ran into the water.  All four of us dropped about 2 feet upon entering the water only to be confronted with a wave about 4 feet high (on top of the 2 feet we dropped).  We were all promptly pummeled into the beach.  That was our initial welcome and I think the moment Bob fell in love with  Florida.  

One of my regrets is that our lives took us in different directions.  Even though we saw very little of each other in our adult lives, Bob was always available to choke down a few barley pops and catch up when i came through town.  He was a true friend.

You will be loved , Never forgotten!  You left a big dent with everyone you met that they will never ever forget. My heart goes out to the wife and kiddos. Heaven has gained a special Angel, sending positive energy and love from Jon&joely. 

Bob was my best friend in high school. Because everyone always thought we were “a couple” we began saying we were “cousins”.  That fended them off. 
I spent many Sundays at the gas station where Bob worked, always bringing him a juicy Big Mac and fries. When I went off to college in Fl he and Joe would visit and we would romp around the beaches, hanging out at the Tikki bars listening to Jimmy Buffet. I have many fond memories of Bob and am grateful we remained friends throughout the up’s and downs of our lives. He will remain forever young in my heart…. Go “Savoy Brown and “Wing Dang Doodle!” :)

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you for the great loss you have suffered, and all you and Bob have had to endure throughout his illness.  I am reflecting back on the shenanigans of our youth and the fun of growing up together in Wildwood.  Bob was always fun to be with, in spite of being the "little brother".  Rest in peace, my friend.
