Ricardo and I met in the early 70s as new believers in Christ. We shared so many fun and serious adventures together. His warmth, kindness, and deep care impacted me greatly. He has and will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m so glad we saw each other last year.  I look forward to seeing you again some day, Ricardo. 

Richard was a beloved cousin. He was such a gentle and humble person. I remember the first time I went to Illinois in the 70's to spend my vacation with my aunt and uncle. Richard took me camping with his church group. We enjoyed singing by the camp fire and canoeing. He also took me riding on his motorcyle.  Richard came to Dallas, Texas to visit with my uncle, Ricardo Moreno, back in 2009. It was one of their weekend quick trips to visit my mom, Carmen, uncle Ricardo's sister.  When he was here ,he bought me a CD by Rodrigo and Gabriela. He said they had really good songs. I will always cherish it.  It was always such a joy when my aunt, uncle, Irma and Richard would come to Dallas to visit. I'm still struggling with Richard's loss, but I know he is a much happier place in God's presence. Rest in peace dear cousin. We will see each other again some day.

One of the nicest guys I knew in High School. He was also a friend of my best friend Roberta . He always cheered me up in the long winter months and took me skiing . He was a great guy to talk to . 

Richard and my brother, Mike, were best friends. We all hung out a lot in our teens. Richard and Mike built a 62 Pontiac Tempest  from junkyard parts,  painted it and gave it to me at the age of 15. It’s one of my favorite memories.  We took several family vacations together. I remember taking a motorhome to Mexico for 2 weeks. We had a great time. Richard had to wear a short hair wig at the borders because the patrols  would give him grief if they saw his beautiful locks of hair. I had to do all the speaking in Spanish because he never could remember the correct words. We swam in a shark invested area because neither one of us knew the words for “Danger/ Sharks!” until we got back home. The past 2 years we were able to communicate often. He was a wonderful friend. I am so thankful that my brother was able to welcome him into heaven. 

I knew Richard in high school and was always drawn to his kind, compassionate, soul-searching personality. Even though our lives went in different directions after I graduated, and our paths haven’t crossed for 40+ years, wonderful memories of him will forever be dear to me. All of us have known someone whose friendship taught us important Life lessons, and Richard was truly that for me. Rest In Peace .

In 6th grade, Richard brought a treat for the class. I don’t remember why but it was something delicious that we ate out of a corn husk. To this day, I remember and associate Mexican food with this sweet man. I hope he passed peacefully cause that would have reflected his nature. RIP my friend. 

So,sorry to hear of Ricardo's passing. I haven't seen him since high school.But he was a good friend! Our family is thinking of you at this time!  Scott A M. Sam's and Family 


Richard was always so kind , fun and smiled a lot. Had lots of laughs in class walking the halls many memories. We lived close to each other so   hung around together. Prayers for his family I know he will be missed. Will see you one day again . 

Donna and I enjoyed sitting w him at dinner at our 45th reunion. He was a very nice soft spoken guy. Thanks for being who you were. You will be surely missed.

I met Moreno that's what I called him @ Central jr high school he was a very nice and considerate guy always dressed to the T he will be missed my condolences to the family RIH Bruh till we meet on the other side ur 1970 classmate Charles 

I had the pleasure of meeting "Rich" at Central Junior High and remained friends throughout our shared educational experiences in Zion.  Rich was a smiling, warm, considerate guy who was also a snazzy dresser!  I was always jealous of his ability to look well put together for any occasion.  Sincere condolences to the family.  I enjoyed our conversations at the 45th ZBTHS class of '70 Reunion...Rich will be sorely missed at our 50th Reunion.  R.I.P. Ricardo...we will meet again.

I met Richard in 7th grade(Central Jr.High). We laughed & got along very well. I can still picture him standing in my front yard. Really nice guy. R.I.P.❤️
