My dear friend Wayne,  I'll always remember your  magical smile, quick witt, generous ways and the undying love you had for Donna and the boys. You were a real troopers during this past year and a half, a true hero.  You are loved by so many and you will be missed greatly. May God keep Donna and your boys under His loving care. For you my friend no more pain.  You are surely in Heaven with God our Savior and your loved ones who went before you. Rest in Peace.  We will keep you and your family in our daily prayers.❤

I met Wayne (I never called him Paul as many of his work friends did)  approximately five years ago when his family moved next door to me. We quickly became good friends and spent many great times together enjoying the warm weather on our decks. Wayne had a quick smile, a great sense of humor, and most of all, a very generous heart! We had a propensity for getting into trouble together for over doing things at times... LOL.

Wayne and I were kindred spirits as we exchanged stories of growing up in Chicago and we also shared many of the same musical tastes such as our love for the Beatles. 

I could always count on Wayne for his help when I had a project to do around the house and for sharing the holiday proceeds he received from his generous friends in Glencoe.

You were one of a kind my friend. I will miss you in my life but will always cherish the great times we shared.

May God watch over Donna and the boys  and protect them always. Your pain and suffering are now over my friend and may you now rest in peace will all of your loved ones that have preceded you on this final journey.

My heart is saddened by your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Wayne was a great man, husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I will miss you, Paul and all of the times that we could talk and laugh together. You had a wonderful smile, and a wicked sense of humor. What a prankster you were! I still remember how mad Chris was when you emptied their luggage in their car after their wedding! You were a rascal, but a lovable one! I had the great pleasure of meeting Paul and his family in clinic. He was a brave man and a true fighter. He will be greatly missed. My payers are with you all. Cherish your memories forever. Paul always put a smile on my face and he somehow knew I loved chocolate and was always giving of such good treats.
