Maria & Leocadio cared for my yard when I was gone.
I was mowing the yard today & thought of them.
They were good neighbors & I miss them.





There will be dates  forever etched in my mind. September 9th  was the last day I seen you and  the last time I  was able to touch you.  To say I miss you, is an understatement.  When I think of you my eyes lose a fight with the tears they holdback. Dear Magana Family,


I write this letter in memory of Maria Soledad Magana. I first say and send my love and condolences to all of you from me, Michael Paz, Jr. and my mother, Josephine Navarro Paz who passed away last year. 

I remember Maria as always being kind and caring to me. I remember her father, Simon Navarro. I spent many times with Simon talking with him when he lived at my grandfather, Chema Navarro’s house. I remember meeting Maria there and Raymond when they would come visit. My mother, Josephine, and Maria always got along very well. I remember one time when I was at the gas station getting gas and a lady said, “Hola Miguel. Como estas” . At first I didn’t recognize who she
was, so I want over and talked to her, and it was Maria. She gave me a good loving hug. That’s the kind of person she was - a good loving person.

As we are younger kids of our parents and grandparents, we sometimes grow apart because we think we have so many other important things to do. But the important thing we must do and the most important thing of all is NOT TO FORGET WHERE WE CAME FROM. For without our parents and grandparents, we would not be here. We must not forget the love that they shared for us and gave to us.

I will always remember her as the kind, sweet lady that gave me hugs , Maria, the daughter to Simon Navarro and the sister to Raymond Navarro. 

I am the last Paz from my family left alive, and as that last Paz, I send the love from our family to yours.

Sending you my most heartfelt condolences. Your mom was such a beautiful soul. My prayers and love are with you during this difficult time. 



When my cousins, siblings, and I were little she would always take care of us, feed us, bathed us, and loved us unconditionally. I remember she would always sing this song to us and have us in her lap while she would sing it. It’s unfortunate that I won’t be able to have my future kids listen to her sing, or when she would call us on our birthday and sing on our special day. she was everyone’s rock and she still will be. We will always have her in our hearts. Her legacy will never be forgotten. Te amo mi hermosa reina en el cielo❤️.

I am the next door neighbor on Elmwood Ave.
Maria and Leocadio looked after my house while I was gone. They mowed the grass, trimmed the bushes & raked the leaves. They took better care of my yard then I did.  She enjoyed yard work and working with the plants in her yard!
I enjoyed talking with her and meeting her children, grandchildren & great grand children.  It was interesting to watch them grow.
She was a good neighbor. I will miss her!

You have taught me so many lessons in life how to love unconditionally and the meaning of cherishing your family.
You were always there for me giving me advice and guidance.
My children love you so very much and you have been an inspiration to them.
 I will miss our talks that we had.
 I never got tired of hearing the stories you would tell me and how you cheered me up or made me laugh. I will always treasure those conversations. 
Our hearts are broken but I know you are in heaven  looking down at us and still asking the Lord to protect us and give us strength.   You will forever be in my heart.

My Tia was a very heart warming Lady full of Love and compassion, Always feeding us when we come over Her meals were the Best 
Very good cook.. She always talked to me about old family stories and her growing up, I am truly gonna miss her, and we laughed , we cried
She was very special to me .. I always loved how Family was very important to her.
