Lisa Ann Kennedy

Lisa Ann Kennedy, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the age of 65. Lisa was born in Waukegan, IL on June 18, 1959, to Hugh and Joan (Lewis) Kennedy. Lisa was employed at Waukegan Housing Authority for the last 25 years.

Lisa is survived by her nephew, Ryan (Emily); nieces Kristin (Tim), Lindsey (Drew); sister-in-law Debbie; great nieces, Dawson, Nora and Lucy; and best friend of over 50 years, Sandy, as well as many other close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Joan and her brother, Tom. Lisa was a lifelong Chicago Sports fan, especially cheering on the Chicago White Sox. She spent her free time hanging with her fur baby, Maddie, grabbing a beer and pizza with her friends, or spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was her nieces, nephew, and great nieces. Those who knew her jokingly referred to her as the "family photographer" as she was always capturing the perfect memories a family events.

She will be deeply missed by family, friends, co-workers, and all who knew her.

A visitation for Lisa will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A short prayer service will he held at 6:45pm to close out the visitation.
