Heidi H. Smith

Heidi H. Smith, age 69, of Waukegan. Loving mother to Tracy (Jeff) Paulsen. Dearest Gma of Stephanie Smith. Cherished sister of Wendy Hansen. Heidi was born November 8th 1949 in Evanston lL. She was the first daughter born to William and Beverly Hansen. She was always a caring child, often taking care and helping raise her younger sister. Heidi had 1 Daughter and 1 granddaughter who she loved dearly and did everything she could for both. Throughout her life she was an avid gardener born with a green thumb, an excellent cook known for many specialties, and a travel adventurer roaming all over the United States as well as Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. But Heidi will most be remembered for is that she was a fierce friend to all, at her core she cared for and helped anyone around her, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, distant relatives, and children in need, she loved all from the bottom of her heart, and her heart was bottomless. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 from 3-7pm at Marsh Funeral Home 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031.
