Gerald A. Grode, age 87, born August 31, 1931 in Erie, PA. Passed away May 4, 2019 in Carbondale, IL. Gerald was a member of Berean Christian Church of Murphysboro, and a retired chemist at Baxter Labs in Round Lake.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia A (Dible) Grode. Loving father of Cindy (John) Scheidt, and Chris (Lisa) Grode. Dear grandfather of Abigail Scheidt, Chianna Scheidt, Matthew Grode, Michael Grode, and Maxwell Grode. Cherished brother of Norman Grode, the late Reed Grode, and the late Laurene (Grode) Miller. Brother-in-law of Bette Schodorf.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, at 9:30 AM at Milburn Cemetery, Wadsworth, IL.
